About the event
"Invasioni" is a contemporary theatre season in Forte dei Marmi. From 30 October 2026 to 7 March 2027 it brings a programme of performances and talks to the Ugo Guidi auditorium and Villa Bertelli. Its five events explore the present through theatre, with stories of care, battles for rights, the environment, literature and new forms of social life.
The season opens on Friday 30 October 2026 at 21:00 at the Ugo Guidi auditorium with "Kurakari – Ubasute", performed by Alessandro Tommasi and Lorenzo Muscolini, from a text by Serena Guardone.
The play looks at the situation of family caregivers, people who look after a loved one. It weaves together autobiographical storytelling, irony and reflection on the relationship between love, responsibility and loneliness.

About Forte dei Marmi
Forte dei Marmi takes its name from the small fort in Piazza Garibaldi, completed in 1788 under Grand Duke Peter Leopold to guard the beach where marble from the Apuan Alps was stored and shipped. The town belonged to Pietrasanta until 26 April 1914, when it became a comune of its own.
