About the event
An old aunt with a glorious past in music tours the stages of theatres around the world with her nephew, a budding talent. They are not a duo for long: Norma, the aunt's young carer, sweeps them up with her passion for opera and pushes them to give up the classical repertoire.
The best-known opera arias are performed in a bizarre and funny way, accompanied by piano, flute and the many objects Norma invents ways to play. Between classical music and virtuosity, play with rhythm and gags, the show works without words, through music and gestures. It interacts with the audience through a universally recognisable code, in which famous arias and well-known pieces of classical music are performed, rearranged and irreverently reworked.
Idea by Rita Pelusio. Written by Trio Trioche, Luca Domenicali and Rita Pelusio. Directed by Rita Pelusio. Produced by PEM Habitat Teatrali and Trio Trioche.
