About the event
From 25 October to 9 November 2026, Andrea Pieri, 30, from Marciana on Elba, covers about 550 km on foot from Piombino to Milan. The route crosses Tuscany, Liguria, Piedmont and Lombardy in 15 stages and carries the message of the Fondazione Uniti per Paolo ETS. It is built around Paolo Sarullo, who was attacked on the night of 19 May 2024.
The walk reaches Viareggio on Tuesday 27 October and leaves again on Wednesday 28 October at 11:00. In each town the Foundation meets young people, families and local communities to talk about mutual respect, preventing youth distress and breaking the wall of silence.
On the morning of 28 October, from 9:00 to 11:00, the Teatro comunale Elpidio Jenco hosts a meeting for schools. It includes a live video link with Paolo Sarullo and focuses on respect, empathy and preventing bullying and violence.
