About the event

In 2026 the Fondazione Simonetta Puccini celebrates the centenary of the Museo Villa Puccini and 100 years of Turandot, the Maestro's last opera. The events take place within the walls of the historic home and in the Auditorium.

The programme includes the series of talks "Intorno a Turandot", the music marathon on 16 May with Puccini's original pianos, played from 18:00 until midnight, and afternoons of Conversazioni d'Opera devoted to the Maestro's masterpieces. On 29 November, voices come together to mark the anniversary of Puccini's death and 100 years of the Villa Museo.

Getting to Torre del Lago

By car, leave the A12 at the Viareggio-Camaiore exit. Torre del Lago Puccini station, in the centre of the village and about 3 km from the beach, is on the Genoa–Pisa line with regional trains from Pisa and Viareggio.

About Torre del Lago

Torre del Lago Puccini is a frazione of Viareggio, set between Lake Massaciuccoli and the sea a few kilometres south of the town. Its name comes from an old watchtower on the lake; "Puccini" was added in 1938.
